Bred by Austin and named after Lady Emma Hamilton, the mistress of British Admiral Horatio Nelson, commemorating the 200th anniversary of the famous Battle of Trafalgar. The leaves start as a deep copper-green and turn to deep green. The plant stands uniformly and grows in a shrub form of medium height, blooming throughout the seasons with strong disease resistance. For sale, this rose showcases orange or orange-red blooms with a 9-centimeter diameter and a rich lychee fruit fragrance. It clusters and repeats blooming in multiple seasons. Discontinued but highly sought-after, it’s cold and heat tolerant, standing 120 centimeters tall and having won the Royal Horticultural Society’s Garden Merit Award.
