Black Caviar Rose is a remarkable shrub rose variety hailing from France. Its blossoms, either purplish-red or deep red, carry an extremely intense fragrance. The leaves are shiny and lustrous with outstanding disease resistance. Boasting large flowers and numerous petals, it’s a real standout. Bred by Hans Jürgen Evers, it was initially introduced in Germany in 2001 as “Astrid Gräfin von Hardenberg”. Later in 2012, Knight’s Roses launched it in Australia under the name “Black Caviar”. It has even won the Gold Medal for the best fragrance in the Concorso Internazionale di Roma. The Black Caviar rose bush is truly a gem for every rose enthusiast.
