The Wedgwood Rose, also known as Pink Wedgwood, is truly enchanting. It showcases beautiful pink blooms that exude an air of elegance. With extremely soft branches and rapid growth rate, it can be cultivated as a climbing rose. It blooms continuously throughout the year, emitting a rich fragrance of fruits and lilacs. However, the single flower has a relatively short lifespan and it’s not easy to maintain the flower shape, especially in summer when it tends to disperse quickly. As a small climbing rose, it has soft branches and requires support, thus having poor erectness. Despite this, it is very frequent blooming and performs well whether in pots or in the ground. Its delicate shape and beautiful color are often praised as “enchanting”, yet it is prone to drooping. Fortunately, its disease resistance is outstanding compared to other varieties.
